Breaking News – The Stamp Duty Holiday
Many of us have had to cancel or postpone our summer holidays due to the Covid pandemic, but the Chancellor has just announced another sort of holiday – the Stamp Duty holiday!
From today, there will be no stamp duty to pay on the first £500k of all property purchases in Northern Ireland and England. This is a huge boost for the property market and it is hoped that it will encourage more buyers to take the plunge.

Property purchases below this new level of £500k will not need to pay stamp duty as long as the deal is completed before 31 March 2021.
