A Belfast based telecommunications company, Connect Communication Solutions Ltd, had ambitious plans for rapid expansion. The entrepreneurial owner intended to acquire several other businesses across England and Scotland to achieve this. The company intended to prove that it’s possible to successfully build up a business into other markets from a base in Northern Ireland.

Aleric acted in the acquisition of the shares and assets of the companies and negotiated the sale and purchase agreement and all ancillary documents. The entrepreneur sold the business for £15m

The company went on to reach its five-year profit targets in only three years. This accomplishment drew attention from the wider business community and led to the sale of Connect to the company’s investors for around £15m.
