Elizabeth was working in a Northern Ireland hospital when she tripped over an object that was obstructing a corridor. She fell forward and instinctively reached her arms out to soften her fall. Unfortunately, she fell with such force that she fractured her arm. As a result of her injury, she was unable to work whilst she recovered and she suffered loss of earnings as a result.
