Robert McKay

Robert joined MTB in 2006 and was appointed Partner in 2014. He specialises in commercial litigation, acting on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants, and acts on behalf of banks and insolvency practitioners in relation to bankruptcies, administrations, liquidations and general banking litigation.

Robert’s experience also extends to clinical negligence matters, including those involving catastrophic injuries, in addition to personal injury actions.

Robert graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh in 2004 with an Honours Degree in Scots Law. He obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Northumbria in 2005 and thereafter completed the Legal Practice Course in 2006. He was admitted to the Rolls of Solicitors in both Northern Ireland and England and Wales in 2011.
