We asked Mark McKenna some questions so that our current and future clients might get to know him better.
Tell us about your career to date.
Although I undertook the vast majority of my apprenticeship in a High Street firm in Omagh, I have been at McCartan Turkington Breen since September 2023 and qualified into my role as Solicitor soon after.
Why did you decide to become a solicitor?
I have always been interested in a career in law having grown up in family with great role models in the sector. The social aspect of the job has always been appealing to me together with having the opportunity to help individuals through challenging situations.
Why did you decide to specialise in residential property and probate?
I enjoy the everyday impact working in this sector has. Being able to provide assistance to those in stressful situations in these sectors is something I have found to be extremely rewarding.
What do you like about working at McCartan Turkington Breen Solicitors?
The opportunity to join one of the most highly respected firms in the region was what attracted me initially. The highly skilled team working here have achieved great outcomes for clients in a vast majority of sectors and the firm itself is continuously striving to do better as well as supporting the local community.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I enjoy golf, football and walking my dog whenever I get a chance.
