McCartan Turkington Breen’s charity partner for 2026 is Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Friends of the Cancer Centre is dedicated to making a real and meaningful difference to cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.

We are both proud and excited to support this wonderful charity throughout 2026 by fundraising, organising events and advocating for the important work that Friends of the Cancer Centre carries out.

Stephen Clarke, Senior Partner at McCartan Turkington Breen, said:

“Friends of the Cancer Centre does extraordinary work supporting patients and families across Northern Ireland at some of the most difficult moments in their lives. As a firm rooted in the local community, we are proud to support the charity throughout 2026 and to play a small part in helping them continue the vital services they provide.”

Ana Wilkinson, chief executive of Friends of the Cancer Centre said:

“Everything we do to support local families relies on our wonderful friends who raise vital funds for the charity. We are thrilled to have the support of the team at McCartan Turkington Breen, and we look forward to working with them this year.

“Their commitment to supporting cancer patients here in Northern Ireland means we can continue to grow our work in patient care, patient comfort, and research. The partnership will also play an important role in empowering people to become more cancer aware.”

Friends of the Cancer Centre’s mission

Friends of the Cancer Centre aims to enhance the quality of patient care and support through its life-changing and life-saving work, which includes funding additional nurses, supporting local research and providing practical support, such as financial grants that help families through a difficult time.

From something as simple as a cup of tea while waiting for an appointment to comfortable day rooms that offer patients space away from busy wards, everything they do is focused on making an incredibly difficult time a little easier. We look forward to raising vital funds and awareness throughout the year to support the incredible work they do.
