Four teams of MTB staff took part in the CLIC Sargent NI Clic-A-Thon on the 9th of June. The MTB staff car park hosted the event which involved over 20 teams from the judiciary and legal profession in Belfast. Even the Lord Chief Justice Sir Declan Morgan took part! Teams of 3 had to cycle as far as possibly on a stationary bike within an hour.

President of the Law Society, John Guerin, asked for participants from the legal profession to join him in this fundraiser which raises funds for children suffering from cancer. Funds raised will go towards easing the burden of families and young people in Northern Ireland who travel, on average, a huge 95 miles to access cancer treatment in Belfast. MTB are proud to be involved in raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

Competition between the 4 MTB teams was fierce.  Andrew Morrow was beaten by rival Aleric Turtle in the last five mins of the competition, by an agonising 4 metres distance!

Online donations have yet to be counted but so far it is expected that close to £10,000 has been raised by the event.
