James Cox

James Cox graduated from Ulster University, Belfast, in 2023 with a First-Class Honours degree in Law, before going on to graduate from Queen’s University Belfast in 2024 with a Master’s in International Commercial and Business Law. He joined McCartan Turkington Breen in April 2024 as a paralegal and secured a training contract in 2025. He is now working towards qualifying as a solicitor under the mentorship of Harry McAleese.

James works in the firm’s Litigation Department and has a particular interest in personal injury and medical negligence law.

Outside of work, James enjoys running, and playing football and golf.
