We asked Courtney Keane some questions so that our current and future clients might get to know her better.
Tell us about your career to date.
I trained with McCartan Turkington Breen and have been working in their litigation department since 2019. My area of work focuses on Road Traffic Accidents, Employer and Public Liability and Medical Negligence.
Why did you decide to become a solicitor?
From a young age I was very interested in the law. I always wanted to follow a career path which would allow me to help people and I felt that the law was an area that allowed me to do this.
Why did you decide to specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence litigation?
Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence litigation revolves around the personal experiences of individuals. I am passionate about helping people understand and avail of the legal structure that is in place to support and compensate them when they need it most. It is a fast paced, ever evolving and highly rewarding specialty area.
What attracted you to McCartan Turkington Breen Solicitors?
The firm is known, not only for providing fantastic results, but also for its excellent relationship with its clients. The dynamic, supportive and hands-on approach taken by all of the team excited me and made me want to be involved.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I am a keen cook and a huge music fan. When I am not in work, I love nothing more than sitting around the table with friends and family listening to our favourite songs (and trying not to butcher them!)
