We asked Thomas Brangam some questions so that our current and future clients might get to know him better.
Tell us about your career to date.
After graduating from Queen’s University Belfast in 2020, I started working at McCartan Turkington Breen as a litigation paralegal. I subsequently secured a training contract with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2023.
Why did you decide to become a solicitor?
Most of my early life was spent around lawyers, and my interests developed from that exposure. A career in which I can actively assist people with their issues has always appealed to me.
Why did you decide to specialise in litigation?
No two days are the same and the field of litigation is always changing. I particularly enjoy the fast paced and challenging nature of the area.
What attracted you to McCartan Turkington Breen Solicitors?
The firm is one of the most respected and established in the jurisdiction and enjoys a long track record of achieving excellent results for its clients. The staff are welcoming, and an active learning environment is encouraged in the office.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I enjoy swimming, squash, and playing guitar, much to the occasional annoyance of my neighbours!
